Law of First Mention

Where Does the Bible First Mention Faith / Believe?

The Bible first mentions faith / believe in Genesis 15:6, from the original word aman (אמן). Abraham believed the LORD, and He credited it to him as righteousness. This is the first statement of justification by faith—the core gospel formula appears in Genesis 15, not the New Testament.

The Seed of Everything That Follows

Faith is not intellectual assent but trust that leads to being counted as righteous before God.
