Law of First Mention

Where Does the Bible First Mention The Promised Seed?

The Bible first mentions the promised seed in Genesis 3:15, from the original word zera (זרע). 'Her seed... shall bruise thy head' is the first gospel promise (the protoevangelium)—announcing a coming offspring of the woman who will crush the serpent at the cost of being wounded.
