Law of First Mention

Where Does the Bible First Mention Worship?

The Bible first mentions worship in Genesis 22:5, from the original word shachah (שחה). Abraham tells his servants, 'We will worship (shachah—bow down) and come again to you.' This first mention occurs in the context of sacrifice, linking worship to obedient submission even in the hardest moment.

The Seed of Everything That Follows

True worship is bowing your will to God's will, not just performing rituals.
