Throughout scripture God reveals Himself by many names — each one unveiling a different facet of His character. The Primary Names
The three foundational names that run throughout the Old Testament.
The all-powerful Creator; a plural form expressing fullness and majesty, used in the very first verse of the Bible.
Genesis 1:1 →The personal, covenant name of God — "I AM WHO I AM," the self-existent and eternal One revealed to Moses.
Exodus 3:14 →God as sovereign Lord and master, the One to whom all submission and service is due.
Genesis 15:2 →The El Names
