Divisions of the Gatekeepers and Treasurers
David organizes the porters into divisions from the Korhites and Merarites under Meshelemiah, Obed-edom, and Hosah. These gatekeepers are stationed at various gates of the tabernacle and perform service duties. Levites also oversee the treasures of the house of God and the dedicated things, with Shelomith and his brethren managing spoils dedicated to maintain the Lord's house.
