1 Samuel 22 Summary
Saul Slaughters the Priests of Nob
David gathers four hundred men at the cave of Adullam and places his parents with the king of Moab. After Doeg informs Saul that Ahimelech helped David, Saul summons the priests and commands their execution. Doeg kills eighty-five priests and Saul destroys Nob with all its inhabitants, but Abiathar escapes and joins David.
