Bible Chapter Summary
2 Corinthians 13 Summary
Final Warning and Exhortation to Self-Examination
Paul announces his third coming visit, stating that every word shall be established by the mouth of two or three witnesses. He warns those who have sinned previously that he will not spare them when he comes. He calls the Corinthians to examine themselves and prove their faith, knowing that Jesus Christ is in them. He writes these things while absent so that when present he need not use sharpness according to the power given him by the Lord for edification, not destruction.
