Bible Chapter Summary
2 Peter 1 Summary
Faith, Virtue, and Christian Growth
Peter addresses believers who share precious faith through God's righteousness and calls them to add virtues progressively: virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity. Those who cultivate these qualities grow fruitful in knowing Christ, while those lacking them are spiritually blind and forgetful of their redemption. Peter promises that these diligent believers will never fall and will receive an abundant entrance into Christ's everlasting kingdom.
