The Ascension and Waiting for the Spirit
Luke opens his second volume: Jesus spent forty post-resurrection days teaching about the kingdom. He commissions: you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. He ascends into a cloud. The disciples return to pray together with the women. Matthias replaces Judas by lot.
