Daniel 6 Summary
The Lions Den: Faith Under Persecution
Jealous officials trick Darius into signing a law against praying to anyone but the king. Daniel continues praying three times daily toward Jerusalem. He is thrown to the lions. The king spends the night fasting. At dawn he rushes to the den: Daniel is unharmed. His accusers are thrown in; the lions overpower them.
