Bible Chapter Summary

Ezekiel 26 Summary

Tyre's Destruction by Babylon

God pronounces judgment against Tyre for boasting that Jerusalem's fall will increase her prosperity. God will bring many nations against Tyre, and King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon will destroy her walls and towers, strip her of riches, and reduce her to a bare rock where fishermen spread their nets. All the inhabitants of the isles shall mourn Tyre's complete destruction, never to be rebuilt.
