Bible Chapter Summary
Ezekiel 47 Summary
The River of Life and Land Boundaries
Waters issue out from beneath the temple threshold flowing eastward, increasing in depth from ankle to loin to swimming depth. These healing waters flow toward the east country, making the dead sea alive with fish, and trees grow abundantly on both banks bearing food and medicine. The Lord then establishes the land's borders according to the twelve tribes of Israel, with Joseph receiving two portions, and declares that strangers dwelling among Israel shall inherit land with the native-born.
