Bible Chapter Summary
Isaiah 4 Summary
Redemption and Protection of the Remnant
After judgment, in that day seven women shall seize one man seeking only to be called by his name and remove their reproach. The branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth excellent for those escaped of Israel. Those remaining in Zion and Jerusalem, having been written among the living, shall be called holy after the Lord washes away filth and purges blood by the spirit of judgment and burning. The Lord will create a cloud and fire as protection by day and night upon Mount Zion, and a tabernacle for shadow from heat and refuge from storm.
