Bible Chapter Summary
Job 11 Summary
Zophar Rebukes Job's Words
Zophar confronts Job for his excessive talk and claims of purity, stating that Job deserves less punishment than his iniquity warrants. He declares that God's wisdom is infinitely beyond human comprehension, higher than heaven and deeper than hell. Zophar then urges Job to put away iniquity and prepare his heart toward God, promising that if he does so, he will lift up his face without shame, forget his misery, and dwell securely with hope.
