Bible Chapter Summary

Job 41 Summary

God Describes Leviathan's Terrible Power

The LORD continues His speech by presenting leviathan, a creature of immense power and fearsome aspect, describing its uncatchable nature and terrifying features in detail. God emphasizes that leviathan cannot be caught with hooks or subjugated; its flesh is impenetrable armor, its neck possesses strength, and fire emanates from its nostrils and mouth. The creature's physical form is so formidable that even warriors are afraid at its rising, and human weapons—swords, spears, arrows, and stones—are powerless against it. God concludes by declaring that leviathan has no equal on earth and is a king over all proud things.
