Matthew 17 Summary

The Transfiguration

Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. He is transfigured before them, his face shining like the sun, his clothes white as light. Moses and Elijah appear and talk with him. The Father voice speaks from a bright cloud: this is my beloved Son, listen to him. The disciples fall on their faces.
