Matthew 27 Summary
The Crucifixion of Jesus
Pilate sentences Jesus though finding no guilt. The soldiers mock him with robe and crown of thorns. He is crucified between two rebels at Golgotha. The temple curtain tears from top to bottom. Darkness covers the land for three hours. Jesus cries: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? And breathes his last.
