Bible Chapter Summary
Micah 2 Summary
Woe to Those Who Devise Evil
Micah pronounces woe upon those who devise iniquity and practice evil, coveting fields and houses and taking them by violence, oppressing men of their heritage. The LORD devises evil against this wicked family so their necks cannot be removed from it, and one shall lament that the people are utterly spoiled with their fields divided. Those who walk uprightly and speak truth are rejected, while false prophets who speak of wine and strong drink find favor. Yet the LORD promises to gather and assemble the remnant of Jacob and Israel, bringing them together like sheep in a fold, with the breaker coming before them.
