Numbers 29 Summary

Numbers 29 prescribes the specific sacrificial offerings required for three holy convocations in the seventh month: the Feast of Trumpets on the first day, a solemn fast on the tenth day (the Day of Atonement), and the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles beginning on the fifteenth day. During the Feast of Tabernacles, bullocks are offered in a descending sequence each day—from thirteen on the first day down to seven on the seventh—while rams remain two and lambs fourteen throughout, each day accompanied by a goat for a sin offering. An eighth-day solemn assembly closes the Feast of Tabernacles with a reduced offering of one bullock, one ram, and seven lambs alongside a sin offering.
