Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 31 Summary
The Wife of Noble Character and True Wisdom
Proverbs closes with a mother instruction to her king-son (vv1-9) and the Valorous Woman poem (vv10-31). The poem is an acrostic through the Hebrew alphabet, portraying a woman of strength, industry, generosity, wisdom, and dignity. Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting; a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
