Psalms 101 Summary

A Pledge of Righteous Rule

The psalmist commits to singing of mercy and judgment unto the Lord, and pledges to conduct himself with perfect wisdom and integrity. He resolves to set no wicked thing before his eyes, to cut off those who slander or deal in pride, and to keep only the faithful near him. He declares he will early destroy all the wicked from the land to keep his house pure.
