Psalms 118 Summary
Thanksgiving and Triumph in the LORD
The psalmist gives thanks to the Lord for His eternal goodness and mercy and invites Israel, Aaron's house, and all who fear Him to join in. The psalmist recounts his deliverance from distress, how the Lord answered and enlarged him, and how the Lord is his strength and salvation. Surrounded by enemies like bees, he calls upon the Lord's name to destroy them and proclaims that this day is made by the Lord for rejoicing.
