Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 27 Summary
The Lord Is My Light and Salvation
The psalmist declares that the Lord is his light, salvation, and strength, so he shall not fear any foe. His one desire is to dwell in God's house all his days, beholding his beauty and inquiring in his temple. In time of trouble, God hides him in his pavilion; and though his earthly parents forsake him, the Lord will take him up and teach him his way.
