Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 54 Summary
Save Me, O God, From My Enemies
The psalmist appeals to God by His name and strength for deliverance and judgment. Strangers and oppressors seek after the psalmist's soul, having not set God before them. Yet God is the psalmist's helper, the Lord standing with those who uphold the psalmist's soul. God shall reward evil to these enemies, cutting them off in His truth. The psalmist freely sacrifices and praises God's name, for He has delivered the psalmist from all trouble, and the psalmist's eye has seen God's desire upon his enemies.
