Revelation 6 Summary

Opening of the Six Seals

The Lamb opens six seals. The white horse represents conquest; the red horse brings war and bloodshed. The black horse brings famine with economic constraint. The pale horse brings death and Hades over a fourth of the earth. John sees martyrs under the altar crying for justice; they are given white robes and told to rest briefly. The sixth seal brings a great earthquake, darkening of sun and moon, falling stars, and cosmic upheaval that terrifies all people.
