Bible Chapter Summary
Romans 4 Summary
Abraham's Faith and the Promise of Grace
Abraham was justified by faith, not by works, and his faith was counted to him for righteousness. The promise that Abraham would be the heir of the world came through the righteousness of faith, not through the law. Abraham believed God would quicken the dead and call things that be not as though they were, and being fully persuaded of God's promise, his faith was imputed to him for righteousness. This righteousness shall be imputed to all who believe in Him that raised up Jesus from the dead.
