David's Charge to Build the Temple
David assembles all the princes and mighty men in Jerusalem. He declares that God chose him to be king forever and has chosen Solomon to build the temple and establish his kingdom. David gives Solomon the pattern of the temple, detailed specifications for the courts, chambers, treasuries, and all vessels, instructing him to be strong and courageous in the building.
