Acts 7 Summary
Stephen Sermon and Martyrdom
Stephen, charged with blasphemy, gives a sweeping history of Israel: Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Solomon, the prophets. Your ancestors always resisted the Holy Spirit. You have betrayed and murdered the Righteous One. The crowd stones him while he prays: Lord, do not hold this sin against them. Saul watches over the cloaks.
