Colossians 1 Summary
Paul's Prayer and Christ's Preeminence
Paul greets the Colossian believers and gives thanks for their faith, love, and hope grounded in the gospel. He prays they be filled with knowledge of God's will and walk worthy of the Lord. Paul reveals that Christ is the image of the invisible God, through whom all things were created and consist, and that by Christ's blood all things are reconciled to God.
