Bible Chapter Summary
Colossians 2 Summary
Completeness in Christ, Not Philosophy
Paul expresses his spiritual conflict for the Colossians and those at Laodicea, desiring their hearts be comforted and united in love. He warns them against false philosophy and worldly traditions, declaring that in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and that they are complete in Him. Paul instructs them not to submit to man-made ordinances but to hold to Christ as the Head.
