Bible Chapter Summary
Colossians 3 Summary
Mortify Earthly Nature, Put On Christ
Paul calls believers to seek things above since they are risen with Christ and their life is hidden in Him. He instructs them to mortify fleshly members including fornication, uncleanness, and covetousness. Believers are to put off the old man and put on the new man renewed in Christ's image, and to walk in mercy, kindness, humility, and forgiveness, with Christ's peace ruling their hearts.
