Bible Chapter Summary

Daniel 12 Summary

Michael's Stand and the Resurrection

At the appointed time, Michael the great prince shall stand for God's people amid a tribulation unmatched in history. Many sleeping in the dust shall awake—some to everlasting life, and some to shame and contempt. Those who are wise and turn many to righteousness shall shine like the brightness of heaven forever. Daniel is commanded to seal these words until the time of the end, when knowledge shall increase. An angel swears that the scattering of the holy people's power will take time, times, and a half; the sealed words will remain closed until that final time, when the wise shall understand but the wicked shall not.
