Bible Chapter Summary
Daniel 11 Summary
Wars of the Kings North and South
The angel Gabriel reveals the future conflicts between the kings of the north and south. Beginning with three more Persian kings and a fourth who will stir up Greece, a mighty king will arise whose kingdom will be broken into four parts. Through generations of warfare, diplomatic marriages, alliances, betrayals, and desolation, the king of the north will ultimately exalt himself above all gods, pollute the sanctuary, and remove the daily sacrifice, placing an abomination that desolates. Yet God's faithful people who know Him will show strength, teach many, and endure through sword, flame, and captivity until the appointed time when these determined events reach their end.
