Bible Chapter Summary
Ephesians 3 Summary
The Mystery of Christ Revealed to the Gentiles
Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, explains that the mystery of Christ has been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit and made known to the Gentiles through the gospel. He describes himself as less than the least of all saints, yet commissioned to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ so that all may see the fellowship of this mystery. Paul then prays that the Ephesians be strengthened by God's Spirit in their inner man, that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith, and that they comprehend the breadth, length, depth, and height of Christ's love which passes knowledge.
