Exodus 19 Summary
Sinai: The Mountain of God
Israel arrives at Sinai three months after leaving Egypt. God descends on the mountain in fire, thunder, and smoke. Moses mediates between God and the terrified people. God declares Israel to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. The Sinai covenant is about to be given.
