Bible Chapter Summary
Ezekiel 30 Summary
The Day of the LORD Against Egypt and Allies
Ezekiel announces the day of the LORD is near against Egypt, a day of darkness when nations will fall. The sword shall come upon Egypt, and Ethiopia, Libya, and all her allied peoples shall fall by the sword. God will destroy Egypt's idols and images, drying her rivers and making her desolate by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar. God breaks Pharaoh's arms so he cannot hold the sword, while strengthening Babylon's king, demonstrating that God is the LORD over all nations.
