Bible Chapter Summary
Ezekiel 38 Summary
Prophecy Against Gog of Magog
The Lord directs Ezekiel to prophesy against Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, declaring He will turn him back from the north and bring him against the mountains of Israel. In latter days, Gog will think an evil thought to invade Israel, now dwelling safely without walls. The Lord promises to rise up in fury, shake the earth, and cause the mountains to fall and all flesh to tremble. The Lord will cause every man's sword to turn against his brother and will rain fire, hail, and brimstone upon Gog's army.
