Bible Chapter Summary
Ezekiel 42 Summary
Priests' Chambers and Temple Boundaries
The man brings Ezekiel to outer court chambers north of the inner sanctuary, showing him galleries rising in three stories. He explains these northern and southern chambers are holy places where priests shall eat the most holy offerings and store sacred items. The man then measures the temple's outer boundary, which forms a wall five hundred reeds in length on all four sides, separating the sanctuary from profane places.
