Bible Chapter Summary

Ezekiel 43 Summary

God's Glory Returns and Altar Instructions

The glory of the God of Israel comes from the east with a voice like many waters, and Ezekiel falls on his face. The Lord's glory fills the house and He promises that this shall be His throne and dwelling place forever, declaring the house of Israel shall no more defile His holy name. The Lord then commands Ezekiel to show the people the house and its ordinances, and gives detailed instructions for making and consecrating the altar through seven days of cleansing and animal sacrifices.
