Bible Chapter Summary

Ezekiel 7 Summary

The End Has Come

The word of the LORD comes declaring that the end is come upon the four corners of the land of Israel. God will judge according to ways and abominations, recompensing all wickedness. Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness, and the time of trouble is near with no relief. The sword without and pestilence and famine within shall devour the people, yet some shall escape to the mountains mourning for their iniquity. Silver and gold shall not deliver them, and the beauty of their ornament, once held in majesty, is now set far from them.
