Bible Chapter Summary
Habakkuk 3 Summary
Habakkuk's Prayer and Confidence in God
Habakkuk prays, expressing fear at hearing God's word, and asks Him to revive His work and make it known, remembering mercy in the midst of wrath. He recounts God's mighty acts: His theophany from Teman and Mount Paran, His power over nature and nations, and His victorious march through the earth to save His people. Despite coming trials when the fig tree shall not blossom and livestock fail, Habakkuk resolves to rejoice in the Lord his God, who is his strength.
