Bible Chapter Summary
Hebrews 2 Summary
Christ's Superiority to Angels
The author exhorts believers to heed the message of salvation spoken by Christ and confirmed by apostolic testimony, signs, and wonders. Drawing from Psalm 8, Christ is shown to be made briefly lower than angels yet crowned with glory and honor, and now sits above all things. Through his incarnation and suffering, Christ became a merciful high priest, made perfect through suffering so he could offer himself as a sacrifice for the sins of all people.
