Bible Chapter Summary
Isaiah 1 Summary
The Vision of Isaiah: A Rebellious Nation
Isaiah opens with God indictment against Judah: they have rebelled like unfaithful children. Their worship is an abomination because it is divorced from justice. God calls them to reason together: though sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Repentance is possible; rebellion brings destruction.
