Jeremiah 37 Summary
Prophet Imprisoned, Pharaoh's Army Returns
King Zedekiah asks Jeremiah to pray as Pharaoh's army approaches. Jeremiah warns that Pharaoh will return to Egypt and the Chaldeans will return to burn the city. Attempting to flee, Jeremiah is falsely accused of defection by a guard, imprisoned, then released by Zedekiah to the prison court where he receives daily bread.
