Bible Chapter Summary
Job 33 Summary
Elihu Addresses Job's Claims
Elihu invites Job to hear his straightforward words spoken from an upright heart. He asserts that God is greater than man and refutes Job's claim of being clean without transgression; God can find just occasions against him. Elihu explains that God speaks to men through dreams and visions, afflicting them with pain to turn them from pride and preserve them from death. He describes how a gracious messenger might reveal a man's righteousness and restore him to health.
