Bible Chapter Summary

Job 37 Summary

The Thunder and Greatness of God

Elihu trembles at God's voice and describes His power through weather: snow, rain, wind, and frost obey His command, and lightning strikes at His direction. God seals the hand of every man that all may know His work, and beasts retreat into dens at His will. The clouds do His bidding for correction, mercy, or judgment upon the earth. Elihu calls Job to consider God's wondrous works and confess that with God is terrible majesty and incomprehensible excellence.
