Mark 8 Summary
You Are the Messiah and Take Up Your Cross
Jesus feeds four thousand in the wilderness. The Pharisees demand a sign; he refuses. He heals a blind man in two stages. At Caesarea Philippi Peter confesses you are the Messiah. Jesus rebukes Peter for resisting the passion predictions. Then: whoever would save his life will lose it; take up your cross and follow me.
