Matthew 2 Summary
The Magi and the Flight to Egypt
Wise men from the East follow a star to Jerusalem seeking the king of the Jews. Herod schemes while the magi find the child and worship him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. An angel warns Joseph to flee to Egypt. The massacre of the innocents fulfills Rachel weeping for her children. From Egypt God calls his son.
