Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 11 Summary
Righteousness and Wickedness Contrasted
Proverbs 11 sets forth the foundational contrast between righteous and wicked ways. Just balances please the LORD while false balances are abominable; pride brings shame while wisdom dwells with the lowly. The righteous are delivered from trouble and death through their integrity and righteousness, while the wicked fall by their own wickedness. Through knowledge and faithful counsel, the just prevail, yet the wicked are overtaken by their own schemes.
