Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 14 Summary
Wisdom Builds, Folly Destroys
Proverbs 14 declares that every wise woman builds her house while the foolish tears it down with her hands. The righteous walk in the fear of the LORD, while the perverse despise Him. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is death. Righteousness exalts a nation while sin is a reproach; kings favor wise servants but show wrath to those who cause shame.
